Re: [kicad-users] Re:PCBNEW crashes when trying to plot
Hi Dick, I tried the new bins (2008-02-01) and it is the same effect. 3 of 4 files were genrated, then it crashes. Here you can find the complete project files: http://www.logic-analyzer.de/tmp/bb-kicad-files-10082008b.zip BTW: the zone edit function is very much improved in the latest version!! Great !! Tobias, Where did this bb.brd file come from? Did it come in via some kind of conversion program? OR did you use a third party library or something? Your layer numbers for several of your text elements are bad. Load the *.brd file into a text editor, and try a search and replace on N V 2009254600 and change it to: N V 21 There are more, search for N V and anything NOT 21 change it to 21. Dick Save the board file, try again.

Re: [kicad-users] Re:PCBNEW crashes when trying to plotDick,
Dick, I have started this board from scratch, no idea how this happenend and I used the this .brd only in combination with the official bin files from Kicad. No external tools involved. I started this board half a year ago with a version older than 2007-11-29, maybe its from there. Load the *.brd file into a text editor, and try a search and replace on N V 2009254600 and change it to: N V 21 I'll give it a try and report results in here. Many thanks . Tobias
Re: [kicad-users] Re:PCBNEW crashes when trying to plot
OR did you use a third party library or something? Yes. I used several not quite common libs from the http://www.kicadlib.org. No idea where they came from. I will change all the N V 20 to 21. Thanks, Tobias

Re: [kicad-users] SVN snapshots
Hi, I'm building and using svn snapshot so I can, for myself, state that they're tested on at least one human :-) Alain M. napsal(a): Dick Hollenbeck escreveu: You can always find out his latest build from the top of the page here: http://kicad.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page I noticed that the source versions are not exactly the same as the binaries. Does it mean that the snapshots availabe there are tested ones? I am asking because the las time I built from SVN it did not compile, which I could do 2 days later with help from this list (IIRC from Dick) and a fixed version. Thanks, Alain
