Hi Arturo,
looking at the code I think you need to set the username, password and
one of the email addresses before saving the patron for the first time
in order for the email to be generated.
Hope this helps,
Katrin

I installed koha 17.11 on Ubuntu 16 and migrated data from koha 3.2.
I have tried koha commands to rebuild instance but without success and

Hi Ashok,
please take a look at About > System information and see if there is
information listed there about a doubled up reserve_id in your system. I
think this could cause the problem you describe.
Hope this helps,
Katrin

Hi Vinod,
I think this sounds like a bug. Could you maybe confirm on a sandbox and
file a bug report, if the problem exists there too?
Thx!

Hi Katharina,
there is no option in Koha to overlay records in batch via Z39.50 at the
moment.
I looked for related bug reports and found:

Maybe you could solve the problem with an external script or tool like
MarcEdit.
Hi Diva,
at the moment it's not possible to sent an email after successful
registration/verification.
See:

Hope this helps,

Hi Chris,
I think 952 should not be used on tabs other than 'tab 10' = items in
your framework configuration. I would not expect it to work outside the
item form. Koha will automatically take you to the item form. If you
want, you can use 942$c as a default - if you set it on record level,

Ummm... Not really, 942$c is to define your bibliographic record's
itemtype.
Gentle Reader,
We are using a minimalist Marc framework for adding books. We really only
need Author, Title, and Genre. We have defined a set of itemtypes
corresponding to our genres.
Our problem is that values (selected from a dropdown) in the 952$y field on
our "Add MARC record" screen do not
Hi Vimal,
thx for writing this up!
We should definitely also have this information in the official Koha
manual - I just checked and only the cronjob for Hea is documented. It's
good to have a tutorial until this can be fixed!
The configuration page Jonathan mentioned should be available in
Hi Vimal,
I would have put that to the wiki or the official documentation. Especially
because it is the wrong way to configure it, and other people would have
been able to correct it.
There is a friendly configuration page to configure these sysprefs, see

Make sure the indexer daemon is properly configured and running.
