Some of you may remember that I asked a while back about where you set MARC
fields to have unique entries, as in the case of barcodes. The setting is in
Acquisitions system preferences in 3.18. Still not sure where that's found in
3.06 anymore.

it's a little different for different categories of authorized values.
If you create a new category yourself that has no special meaning in
Koha then the category will be gone when the last value is deleted.
Categories that have a meaning in Koha will stay in the list as a little
help
