Hi Natalee:
I think that Shibboleth authentication has been available in Koha since version
3.18. Martin Renvoize from PTFS-Europe did the majority of the work there I
believe, so I'm sure he'd know of some libraries using Shibboleth.

Hi, Vitor:
we successfully connected our 3M selfcheck machines via SIP2 and overall
things are going well. I could share further info off list, if necessary.

Hi Iming,
I think you are right that there is currently no feature for handling
suggestion, where the record already exists in the catalog - I think
filing an enhancement request would be a good idea.

Hi Gregor,
did you check the staff's permissions? Editing other branches' items
would be allowed for superlibrarians I think.
Hope this helps,

Elaine, you could setup a collection code that all the equipment is housed
under, and then use the OpacHiddenItems sys pref to hide that collection
code. That's a possible easy solution... You could also set up a separate
branch and hide it from the public using the same sys pref.

I have seen this as well, in the 3.20 series. Usually following a mass

We ended up putting more memory in the machine, and haven't heard of it

Hi Sonia,
we had a library reporting this as a problem in the past and I agree -
it should be possible to place holds on items waiting for pick-up with
AllowOnShelfHolds turned off.
There is some discussion on bug 4319, but putting a patch on a new bug
report might be a little cleaner.

Does your mysql server run on another server?
If so, it should be defined in the koha-conf.xml, search the config
section, then hostname.

I'm using 3.20.03.000.
When I try to export barcode labels using the label creator, instead of
exporting a pdf is gives me an error saying "Failed to Load PDF Document".
I've never had this issue before and have been using the label creator for
a year. It's only a problem for barcodes, not spine

I think there's an issue with the possibility to place a hold on items waiting

What version of Koha are you using?
What you describe should be fixed in recent versions (>=3.16), see

"Sign in with your Email" doesn't sound like anything Koha has on the
OPAC. However, you can grab it with a :contains
We have one record in the catalogue that is missing a 942 $c.

Thanks in advance

Hi, All --
Our maxreserves is currently set for 50 items, that is patrons can
have up to 50 holds at a time.
Turns out we have a patron who actually comes close to reaching this
limit on a regular basis -- almost continuously in fact.
Since staff are spending an inordinate amount of time dealing

Also be sure to check that patron expiration dates are not too far ahead,
but in the fairly recent future (10 years or so). For select patrons we
had as the date and that led to 1 min. delays, as Koha was calculating
when books would be due.
