The linode that bugs, dashboard, splitter, download, plus the bots run

I am about to snapshot it and attempt that now. The server may or may
not go down for various parts of the upgrade. I will let you know when
it has been completed of I have to rollback.

Ok, maybe not. It needs to change from i386 to amd64. So I will have

I agree, we do need to work on a lightweight alternative, and until we have one

Hi all
Just want to put on record my thoughts that replacing the package
architecture with carton or cpan seems like a bad idea.
The main benefit of using modules packaged and tested by debian developers
is that is a whole lot of work we don't have to do. It comes under the
debian perl (who have
unpatched.)

Yes that is the long term plan, the best way to get into ubuntu is to
get into debian, they pull stuff from there.
Which is why we package everything and add to debian whereever we can.
So we get it into debian for example

It will most likely only ever happen in a library that does almost no
circulation.

You'd still have to have a custom query either way if someone did decide to
write
a bizarre piece of code that unreturned items. (Please no one do this, it's a
horrible idea)

You will need to be aware though that reduces your users protection from
session hijacking tremendously. We really need to make fixing it a priority,
without reducing security.

The Koha community is happy to announce the release of Koha 3.20.14.
This is a security release and users of 3.20.x are encouraged to upgrade.

We actually wrote it down in November of 2010, and it has been in
place for every Kohacon since then.
It is a safe guard that means that the conference isn't continuously
in the same country.
I think it has worked spectacularly well, and meant that smaller
countries have a good chance of hosting.

Hi Stefano
I wonder if this is a bug in the UNIMARC support, are you using UNIMARC?

Hi all
At some point today the bugzilla server is going to reboot and come back with
more RAM. Hopefully everything else comes back fine too. If not please let me
know
