Hi All With the move to DBIx::Class we do gain some db independence. But we don't improve privacy much. This is where Qvarn would come in, if I am understanding correctly, the back end some of our stuff would become Qvarn, if we implement it correctly it would be handled by the Object level

We actually wrote it down in November of 2010, and it has been in place for every Kohacon since then. It is a safe guard that means that the conference isn't continuously in the same country. I think it has worked spectacularly well, and meant that smaller countries have a good chance of hosting.
