As we were talking about editing items, I was more thinking of
Greetings,
To follow up on Katrin's passing note, I believe the bug she was thinking
about was:
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10276
This would improve things, I think, but I'm not sure it solves every
problem.

Hi Gregor,
sorry, but I got no more ideas. As it works ok for me, I suspect the
difference is somewhere in the configuration.

IndependentBranches activated, unless you are superlibrarian. In my
tests, it works nicely on current master.
Maybe a last idea: Sometimes if you change the permissions, you need to
Hi Gregor,
I think the link in the pull down always displays - the question would
be, if you can actually edit the item on the page you reach from there,
even if it's from another library. So the next step, would be to check
and verify that.
Hope this helps,
Katrin

Hi Gregor,
did you check the staff's permissions? Editing other branches' items
would be allowed for superlibrarians I think.
Hope this helps,
Katrin

Hi there,
i have a question about the "independent branches"-feature. I activated
it straight after a clean install on a VPS for testing purposes and it
worked fine so far.
Please, which version of Koha did you install? The "Library Police" page
