I've been using the formulas from AC 91-23 DOT manual.
I ran more numbers using several datums: aft of the main gear, several inches
out in front of the spinner, and the prop flange.
All the numbers come out good. Empty CG's fall

All this teasing of our minds with W calculations reminds me of a
Nova program that many, if not all of us, would find
interesting. It's called "The Great Math Mystery". In very simple
terms it explains that everything in the universe is "math". I'm

I used the firewall because I figured that it was the least likely point to
change, like tip of spinner that may change every time your old spinner
cracks up and get's replaced. I don't think the spread sheet really cares
if the numbers you put in are positive or negative. It will always give
