Along w/the carb prob I'm having I also noticed that I developed a substantial oil leak at one of the larger case studs, the oil comes out either between the nut and the stud or from underneath the washer. As I've never overhauled a VW but have the Revmaster overhaul manuel it would appear

Cruise at 3200 is 135 mph. I still haven't got wheel pants and it is a tri gear, so once I get around to that the cruise should creep up to 145 hopefully. On Tue, 7 Oct 2003 14:17:27 -0500 dpurdu...@caldwellmfgco.com writes: > > "I've got a 2100 revmaster w/ a Culver 54X50 and have no prob >

My engine manual clearly shows orings over the 6 case half studs prior mating the 2 halfs together. The manual calls them case stud seals. The only thing these could do is to keep oil from migrating out the studs. On Tue, 7 Oct 2003 17:12:04 -0400 (Eastern Standard Time) "Dan Heath"

Glassing the sides and bottom is optional, I chose to do it using a very light cloth that was very sheer, the weight gain was negligible, make sure u sand all excess epoxy off. I do recommend this as it really seals the wood. -Good Luck. On Fri, 26 Sep 2003 18:07:52 EDT

Kevin---I too have a 2100 revmaster but I use a 54X50 culver prop, the reason for this posting is that a 42" pitch may be a little low for a good cruise prop. I have no problem maintaining 3200 rpm in cruise flight and 3400 full throttle. My climb is decent as well. On Fri, 12 Sep 2003
