Let me clarify a couple of things. 560 hours was flight time over 13 years.
That equates to 113,880 hours that these tanks held fuel without leaking or
degrading. Why go any other way other than aluminum tanks. I would estimate

That's right, Dana Overall built me a set of aluminum wing tanks for my
first KR N886MJ and absolutely no welding is required. And 560 hours not a
drop of fuel leaked out. I ran 100LL, mogas, ethanol laden fuel and used
additives like Marvel Mystery Oil. Oh, did I say not a

for the 164 cubic inch Corvair.
