OK I sort-of fixed this. Once I got the server to start manually, I
deleted all the resources and then ran kres-migrator from the command
line. This imported my address book settings (twice - once as 'std.vcf'
and once as 'Default Address Book').

Desktop-switching visualization sometimes remains after switching desktops

screen showing which desktop is now current and which direction you came
from. Sometimes, this window does not close after doing this.

www-browser package, which is normally provided by your favorite web browser.
There are of course some KDE dependencies that are pulled in, but this is due

Well, now, I am testing (just upgraded) Karmic and it's Digicam. Upon
starting the Restoration and then immediately clicking the (try or trial)
cancel, it acted (for a second) like it was going to freeze-up still; but
then it was fine. Maybe it has the correct libraries now, and a fix, I don't
