I have tested the above packages and created a profile for kontact
locally and kontact no longer crashes hooray. I am still sorting out
what I need to do here for the kde packages ( returning after a long
time gone ) Is there a package I need to add new profiles or is someone

seems to affect Nvidia and AMDGpu as well as reported on the
replacing 'quiet splash' with '' from GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT
/etc/default/grub also allows a clean boot.

Yes I am aware. Unfortunately I haven't found the fix, it fails at two things (
tmp dir and opengl )
I am working on it though.
