This problem still occurs on Gutsy (fully updated 24-06-2007). If I set
the burn speed to 1X or 6X then k3b sets it back to 4X in both cases. I
suppose this could be hardware/driver specific so for the record my

I can confirm that this is fixed in Gutsy (24-06-2007). I just
successfully copied a Kubuntu Feisty ISO image without any hitches.
