Hello Rik, or anyone else affected, Accepted plasma-nm into focal-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma- nm/4:5.18.4.1-0ubuntu1.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. This results in Kubuntu (and any circumstance where a light app widget and dark plasma theme being chosen) in the button background and icons on them being the same or nearly undistinguishable dark colour. For a person with good eyesight this makes it hard to distinguish the action icon on the buttons, but for someone with vision issues this is a critical visual interface bug.
