Hi Sue, Le mouchoir en dentelle de valenciennes, isn't really a book, it is a these made in the 3th year of the teacherscourse in the Kantcentrum by Rosanna Orgiu and Elisabeth Dejonghe. It doesn't contain patterns, only history, and it is not translated in english. I do have this this thesis.

Elizabeth Kurella's book calls it Miracourt, but I have also seen it called Catherine of Aragon. One thing IS certain it is called Mirecourt lace . Mirecourt is a village somewhere in eastern France ... can't remember where at the moment ... i've always been bad at geography ...:-(((
