It appeared that the public version of the lace Glossary (the one that
should visible without a google account) didn't reflect the latest updates.
I tried to fix that. It is available in the following formats:

Just read my own email and had to laugh at myself, I meant pull the

Talking about fuzz in your lace I used to get tweezers to pull out my
little yorkshire terrier hairs out but then I thought - what a wheeze
to confuse experts in
I'm afraid I have the same problem with my two cats... They're both
long-haired, and the undercoats are very fine and fluffy... Sometimes when I'm
working, I'll actually see a tiny bit of fur gently settle out of the air onto
the lace... g... so out come the tweezers.

I treasure the lace I made 10-15 years ago when I find a bit of cat hair from
my Henry the Cat and Cat the Baxter - grey white and tabby respectively.
Now, I have Edie, coal-black, and I hope in 20 years I'll find her hair in my
lace. All lacemakers need a Cat...or Dog

For many years I had the phrase in my sig line No outfit is complete
without animal fur so I guess that can extend to lacemaking, too. I
know every quilt I make has extra fur in it

Yes, cat and dog fur sure can get into lace. But just try and imagine what
bunny fur does!
Such fun, but my bunny is worth it ;-)
