Not necessarily! 'Sock yarn' is just a wool with nylon (polymide) of some
sort added for strength.

Many years ago I went to the Arts and crafts in Jerusalem and the had Czech
lace there.
Then the fair deteriorated and I didn't go for many years. The last times I
have been there were very poor.
Perhaps if it wouldn't have been so hot this year I would have ventured to
come up to Jerusalem .
