Yes, I saw that clip on the news tonight, and after the Queen said,
"It's horrible.", Kate responded with something that sounded as if she
agreed, but I could not understand what she said. I thought the
headless form was rather off-putting...

Well, if it's Faberge' Eggs that you want, you can see a fabulous
exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts! But sorry... no Royal
Wedding Dress. I second Susan's query - and hope that any Arachnids who
attend will give us a full report!

HI Everyone;
Please excuse my ignorance and help me see what you all can see...
How would you display the dress? What would you like them to have done
different?
It seems to be well lit, so you can see details. I don't like the
headlessness, but other than that what could they have done to make
That was my first thought when they put it on t.v. today "what a horrible
way to display the dress" it certainly did nothing to show it off at its
best.

Hello Again! Thank you Robin for that link to Nirvana! Who---eee!! I
think I will not be placing an order any time soon unless I take out a 2nd
mortgage, but the eye candy of interesting fabrics & trims was worth a
bookmark. Must share with other textile-ophiles! Sincerely, Susan Hottle
Hello everyone,
I thought you might like to see/hear a podcast from The Royal Collection.
The section on the wedding dress lasts for about six minutes and if you
choose Audio with images, there are lots of close-up photos of the lace,
especially on the skirt and train.

I'd pushed the button. It came day before yesterday, and I spe
Yes, you are included in the 27, but I was referring to the fact that the hosts
do not have any Arachne attending the lunch. If they had, they could have
organised anything we might want, such as our free raffle. That was all.
Sorry
if I panicked anyone.

Just seen the Queen and Kate viewing Kate's dress on display. The Queen's
comment - "It's horrible."
The dress is on its own and the tiara and veil "suspended" above it, with
the lighting making it look rather ghostly.

Susan brought this book to our attention 4 days ago. Having looked at the
