The IOLI has recently sponsored a new site devoted to all forms of hand made
lace. It allows photos and diagrams to be added to comments, and it is really
easy to do.

Hello All! Hope everyone has received their email artifact from Sharon at Lace
Guild. It's a beautiful Maltese collar that any of us would be delighted to
wear! It's given me a better idea of what Maltese lace looks like, aside from
the obvious cross. I'm so glad that LG started this program
I make and teach Romanian Point Lace and have always thought that it
should/could be considered a 'Tape Lace'. It uses the same principles that
Battenberg--couch down the tape/cording and then do needlework filling
stitches to make the materials into a cohesive piece of lace.

I vote for camisole, too - people refer to 'cami' these days, a light top
worn under a low-neck sweater or blouse such that the lace of the cami
shows and covers the front neck.
