I took another look at the certificate - no help. It relates to the frame,
which is very special and precious, not the lace itself. People have skewed
values!

Yes, it's true that this lace doesn't have the typical elements of
traditional Cantu, like the little connecting twists and flowers. But I
called it Cantu for a couple of reasons:
It is typical of the modern lace for liturgical use that I saw in Cantu and
the patterns I have been given from there,
It is a lovely piece of lace, but it certainly does not look like the Cantu
that I learned in my beginning class. Can someone out there set me straight?

For those of you who haven't seen the photos in 'Lace', who might be a
little confused as to how a stir stick can be used to make a fan stick, these
are mini-fans, with a radius the size of the stick.
