I have successfully made a continental pillow out of two three pound coffee tins. I first joined the two tins together end to end with lots of duct tape. Then I used an old wool blanket cut into strips wide enough to cover both tins. I always look for the tattier blankets in the thrift shops,

Yes, Sue, there is a very nice shop just off the square. It's Scharlaeken Handwerk, and it's on Philipstockstraat 5! Lots of lacemaking goodies!! There are several lace-related shops in Brugges... you'll see lots of shops that sell lace, but some of that is made in China! Enjoy your day!!
