If a pattern was reduced to 71% for printing it means that it was reduced from
A3 to A4 (or A4 to A5). To get it back to the full size you need to enlarge it
by 141% - A4 to A3 (or A5 to A4)
These are standard figures for enlargement based on the fact that with A sizes
of paper the width of a

I just read in The Times that when Prince George is christened in late October,

I don't think any of the lace itself is handmade, in the new one. The
replica robe has been worn by a few royal babies latterly, when the
original robe became too fragile for use.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question. As you may have guessed, it
was the last part of my trying to translate that was not clear to me. I

October 8, 2013 reopening of the VA's textile and fashion collections. This

This was on my 'to do' list when I was at my daughter last July as she lives
just round the corner from Blythe House and the VA website said it would be
opening in June 2013. Sadly, I was disappointed.
