It has some historical info (with photos) about people who were either lace
makers or traders.
This part covers the 16th to 19th Century with prominent lace makers and a
lac

It has been interesting to follow Susan Hottle's lead and search for the

I would just confirm that Ripon is not in Scotland but North Yorkshire England.
There is a book in Ripon Lace which was published a few years ago by Mary
Moseley and another lady. Jean Leader does, of course, live in Scotland and
writes books as well as teaching.
