I didn't use a needle at all.
After I had made the lace trails - 2 trails on the top one trail
around the bottom - I used the gold passives to include the sequin waste
the sequins. It wasn't easy to join both sides together.

Am I right in thinking that you completed the bobbin lace and then added the
sequins and sequin waste using a needle and metallic thread?
