In obedience to Betty Ann's email, I went to the revised by-laws on the
www.interenationaloldlacers.org site, but can't seem to get past the first page. Is
this just my ineptitude?

I've had five tries now and each time the PDF page comes up and then that's
it. A blank. And three times my computer has frozen.
Are there really 20 pages of bylaws to download?

I was just now able to download the bylaws -- haven't had a chance to
read them, but I did have all 20
I had no trouble getting in and looking through the twenty pages. It may be
there are too many people trying to log onto the site at one time. Or
perhaps it needs a very recent version of Adobe Acrobat to read it (I think
I have v. 6). But it is there, honest!

I always find that PDF pages take ages to download - so if you think your
computer's frozen, and if the file is 20 pages, maybe you're just not allowing
enough grunting timeI have the same problem with our local council
web site - got very, very cross with it several times, before I
I also had trouble with the download, and then decided to check which
version of Adobe I was using. My computer was using v.5.? because I had
downloaded v.6.?? and had forgotten to install it. DUH!! Once that
oversight was corrected, I had it in seconds... so check your version
before you do
