I have just uploaded a photo of my latest project... "The Phoenix",
designed by Louise Colgan. I started this in Guttermann silks, but was
really frustrated with how badly the thread behaved on my pillow...
constantly untwisting or throwing the hitches! And, I did not like the
colors I had
I just uploaded a picture of Lace Hearts. I made these for my Grandkids
Valentines. They are little baskets.
The pattern is from 24 Hearts in Bobbin Lace by Lene Bjorn.
Thanks Rhiannon for reminding me how to use webshots. Thanks to my lace
teacher Susie for all the help.

It is a hanky that I finished for Jacquie's wedding last Monday, Valentine's
Day. The piece of lace was one that my mum had started, and worked on, under
Jacquie's guidance - mum had a problem with the rose ground an
