what a bad thing to have such a bad fall. I did one recently but got away with

my face, hands and knees and scratched glasses. Everything is healed and

I got into knitting and esp. knitting socks last year again. Finished 12 pairs

I must say that my imagination told me that these would be like gloves for
toes, with separate toes:-) rather than just a different way of knitting
socks. I did knit a couple of pairs but about 20 years ago but they are

small to wear with my plaster cast or my tubigrip, hense the borrowing
Sue, there is a pattern for socks with toes! I'm trying to think where
I saw it, and it seems to me it's in a book by a Japanese designer...
and I think the socks were shown with the traditional Japanese
sandal... sorry, I know that's not the right word for it. So keep
