Subject: [lace] Sympathy needed
We had a budgie, in years gone by, that loved to play with the pins on the
pillow and pull them out. unfortunately, he always went to the front pins,
not the ones at the back, where removal would not have mattered much!!

once the cats were at fault (they knocked over the whole table p laying a wild
game of chase around the house) and once it was the fault of my cleaner's

Watch out, Agnes. Our Newfoundland, Sirius, (after Harry Potter's Sirius
Black) wags her tail, and if she's in the right place, the bobbins move. And
since the pillow with the altar cloth is right by the sliding glass doors in
the kitchen, where Sirius will go in and out, I'm sure some day
I am quite disciplined: when I stop my lacemaking, I always lift the pillow
off the stand and onto the table in my craft room.

work and found my pillow with spangled bobbins upside down on the floor, 2
broken bobbins. One was my only bone one. Time elapsed from the disaster

makes a beeline for it and sneaks into a crevice between 2 pillows on one of
the low shelves, looking all snug and happy. Then I have to fight with him
and try to drag him out. I get him out
