today (which also is Father's Day in the US) and the effects of the weather.Â
Granted I would have several things to go to, one would be making lace at an
outdoor event, but when it will be
Ladies and Gents,
I would like to suggest that discussions of the weather and holidays (such as
when Father's Day happens) are more appropriate for the lace chat email group
than for the lace group.
Thank you,

Miriam - congratulations on having compiled such a beautiful collection of
bobbin lace. All of your pieces are gorgeous but I especially like the tulip

temps today are 71 - 50 deg F. Presently it is 66 deg F and very few clouds.
The summer temps are not so moderate..112-118 deg F. That's when we hide in

Just in case anybody has missed it, it is 104 ºF = 40 º C in Chicago. I'm
inside and the window felt warm to the touch. We just had some rain, and the
window feels cool again. At least I still have electricity and air
