I've had others look at the programme with a view to using it for tatting, but
they've quickly decided not!
The programmer feels that the small potential market doesn't make it worthwhile
for him to offer two versions and in other countries, Windows based computers
are still more usual. So
I can't check the demo version without uninstalling and removing all traces
of the full version from my computer, so I couldn't check what Ian had done

What I found disconcerting with the demo was the lack of "how to" support.
Unless you already have been using their software, there is no way to really
figure out how to do things. For instance, how to change the curve of a fan?
How to "undo",etc. I have the demo but besides putting dots, I am real

I never advise people to change to Lace8 unless they have thoroughly
explored the demonstration version and have some understanding of the
differences between the two programmes. To me, there's no sense in
changing just for the sake of change or for having the most up to date
programme - and I ap
I think Clay is referring to Lace8. I took a course in Pennsylvania at a

No, that has been possible - back to .lc5 files anyway. I couldn't track
down my .lc1 files to try out. They now get saved as .lc8, so you will need
Lace8 to open any of the files saved as .lc8. You can't share them with R-XP
users for instance

Annoying when you have drawn in a long trail and the lose the rhythm and go

I have upgraded too. I also love the print preview and the fact you can put a
