My lace card from Jenny Brandis made it safely across the Pacific. It's a
beautiful black bow pin that I can wear too! She sent it mounted on a gold
card that shows it off very nicely, with a lace poem inside. I was a bit
concerned what was in the envelope as it didn't have a postage stamp,
I'm sure someone will be able to tell me this. Would DMC 50 be an acceptable
equivalent thread to use instead of BOUC 50 linen thread and what would be an
alternative to BOUC 70?

In T4L:
DMC 50 and Bouc 50 linen have the same wraps per, of 23.
Bouc 70 is 26 wraps, and some equivalents listed are
Fresia 80/3, Aurifil Mako long stape 28 wt., Clarks 3 cord merc. cotton 50
J P Coats merc. Cotton 6-cor No. 70
on either side, for instance
