Dear Lin, At this point I think it would be wisest to remove my name from the Christmas card exchange list this year. Among other things, cleaning up after the August 11th wind storm here in Poland of which we were in the center is more time consuming that I expected. Thank you, Blanche

Historically it has always been this time of year when tensions have got fraught on the list for one reason or another. Let's take a deep breath and find out what the history is before reacting. So far, I've seen Lin's posts about the exchange (I didn't sign up, I haven't got enough time),

At this point Lin is not corresponding with me so finding a fair and acceptable solution is proving difficult. My suggestion is that each exchange has its own organiser. To solve the immediate problem could a previous organiser step up and run the 2017 card exchange if Lin is willing to hand it
