Lorri, I just put the English column in front and sorted it - since
all of us here are speaking English I think that's the best solution.
Here's the link for everyone to see the spreadsheet (without editing):

Thanks to Jo, who started this, and Achim for providing this lace glossary.
As I have just bought some patterns on ebay from Germany, it may prove
to be very helpful to me.
I managed to paste it in a spreadsheet, just needed to make some column
adjustments.

As the holiday season has ended here, there is now time to thank Alice Howell
for arranging the Christmas card exchange and Jenny Brandis for setting up the
website. I for one, greatly appreciate your efforts and find the exchange
very exciting and very rewarding. I am always very impressed by
Achim, I wonder if it is a good idea that anyone who signs in
to Google can edit this spreadsheet.

Oh dear, Sue...
I'm so sorry to hear you didn't get a card! They should have at least let you

Hi Jane and everyone

Thank you so much, Steph, that is exactly what I needed to know. It's all
clear to me now. My half-translations were only confusing me further!
I hope your translation has been of help to others, too.
Kind regards

Hi Bev,
Thanks for the help on Moravia starch source, everyone. I hate to say this,
but trillium has the very same starch I did purchase earlier this year and it
is like water. Same bottle, etc. Truly. It gave my Christmas ornaments a bit of
body but it sure didn't stiffen them very well.
All card exchange participants ...please let me know
if you received your card. It was not required to
contact me though some of you did. Now I'm asking all
of you to tell me if your exchange was completed.
Thank you,
