I thought I'd already looked at all the lace books on Project Gutenberg,
however, today I ran across this one on the origin of lace and found it
interesting. It has a lot of photos of examples of different kinds of lace.

Susan, when I did a search for Oneida lace, I came across a lot of information
regarding Oneida Indian lace. I don't know if it would be from one of their
publications or not as I wasn't able to find any online except a few on this
site regarding historical artifacts.
Thanks for the suggestion Jean--those bracelets look yummy! I think our
resource pattern is more likely to be from a magazine or other smaller
publication. It is quite simple with ties rather than a closure. The only
identifier is the "Oneida lace - summer 2008" at the top of the page. Others
