I have been busy all this week helping to run the Australian Lace Guild
annual Conference in Melbourne Australia.
We have 90 people attending in total.

I am planning a trip to Europe next year with a friend. We are attending the
Tonder Festival in Denmark and the OIDFA Congress in Slovenia.
We have about 10 days to fill in travelling by train from Hamburg on June 10th

When I started using colour and needed a wide pallette I purchased about 50
shades of the Gutterman from an ebay store in the USA.
Even with Postage this was a lot cheaper than buying
I make a piece of cardboard with small slits in the side. The size depends
on how much thread there is.
Then I wind the thread onto the cardboard, usually about 6 strands at a time
and put the ends in the slits. Keep the the cardboard in a bag with the
