Wow, Jenny outdid herself once more. this was a major task for her and she
came thru like the champ she is. i hope everyone will take the time (a bit
more than usual) to peruse the web pages and note all the wonderful
bookmarks shared and winged over the miles this last couple of months. we
have 106 bookmarks to enjoy and be inspired by. Jenny does such a
wonderful job of presenting everyone's talent in the best of lights. I do
hope you will all take the time to peruse the web pages

she has provided us. please take a moment to enjoy and then let Jenny know
 (je...@brandis.com.au)

how much you enjoyed being able to take this time and just enjoy some
relaxing time seeing what others have accomplished this year and hopefully
be inspired to participate next year. she not only provided the book
covers of the pattern sources, but she also gave comments by the creator of
how it was worked and with what threads. it is amazing how many provided
their own designs - so inspirational. it is very inspiring to see what
others create. thanks for being involved and to those who participated, i
hope all will get involved next year. this is sharing lace and enjoying
making something special for another to enjoy 24/7.

i thank all that signed up for the exchange and hope others will plan and
think about being a participant next year. the schedule will be spread out
much like this year so should give everyone an opportunity to enjoy the
involvement, plan and take the time to create. i am always willing to
accommodate your preferences to the best of my ability. just tell me and i
will work it out. thanks again to all. enjoy the opportunity to have eye
candy from this year's exchange.

Hugs, Lin and the Mali

Jenny has miraculously finished and perfected - improved and enhanced - the
2015 Bookmark Exchange Web Pages. It is truly awesome. If you have not
checked it out, please do so. A wonderful display of talent. A hardy thank
you to all the participants for working so hard and participating in what
has evolved into a fun project.

I am so pleased to announce that Jenny has wonderfully set up an awesome
web site that is a tool as well as the panorama of all the lovely lace
presentations. I think she went an extra mile this time and does all of us
proud to have her as a member of Arachne and be so supportive. So as she
aptly states sit back, relax and enjoy. I am sure all of us will whether
or not we participated. I hope it encourages all to participate next
year.

With the postal wars out there, your bookmark may still be in transit.
Thanks for your patience. Please check back on the web site in a week or
so to see the missing scans/photos and often times during the year to get
inspiration. They are so lovingly created and shared. Jenny will add the
missing scans/photos as they arrive. We are dealing with
vacations/holidays and scans not done in the rush to mail so recipients are
carrying the load - thank you. But I am anxious to see what is missing
when it is added. Thank all of you who shared in this adventure with a
purpose and new home for our lace endeavors. Sharing lace is what keeps us
happy to be lacing. I had a grand time and hope you did as well.

Hugs, Lin and the Mali

In the end, so much of it turns out not to matter.

Dear Jenny and Lin,

A wonderful collaboration - the organization, publicity and site where we
can view the laces all exceed expectations.

Of particular interest was the covers of books in which participants found
their patterns. It is a nice way to show contents of the books, for
those who might be thinking of buying one. And, how appropriate to show
bookmarks with books, since they do travel together in our minds.

So much variety - bobbin, crochet, needlelace, netting, tatting. Thanks
to all who participated.
