And here we are having had a forecasted temp of 40C now enjoying about 37.9C with a storm brewing. But. our humidity level is in the single figures, about 8%. Having lived in Melbourne for 25 years you can keep all that humidity to yourself thanks Liz. :-) Cheers, Shirley T.

I just finished my Christmas laces so am free to explore other things. I've been working on a guipure lappet from the OIDFA book, and added about four inches to it. It's ready to set aside for a while. This project will take 2-3 years to complete. At the same time, I'm sorting and collecting

I am finally down to only one project at this point. That is my 5-metre lace project for the Canadian Lace Gazette at www.bobbinmaker.com/5-metre.html I did clear off 9 pillows in order to retieve the bobbins while doing this and the lace contest piece. Not to mention that I had to borrow

Thanks Bev, it's interesting to read what people are doing. Me? I've only got a couple underway at the moment: 1. A white linen with pink trail Torchon edge for a mat for a friend's 70th birthday. Nearly finished. 2.A 4 inch square of gold coloured and bright orange Sifonda
