Round here (south London) it's about how much the venue costs to hire more
than the teaching. You can easily pay £70 plus for one term.
One of my local lace groups is about £50 a year for one meeting a month
simply due to the cost of the venue.

You people are definitely living in the wrong part of the world. I have
a choice of 6 lace classes within 10 - 15 miles of where I live, a
couple much closer than that. we will pay £28-50 ( about $35?) for a 10
week term this year, pensioners over 60 and other concessioners

Through adult education, I've got a choice of a 2 hour x 24
