Is there such a thing as a magnetic pin pusher? I'm thinking of something
like the magnetic screwdrivers that loosely hold on to the screw so all
you have to do is guide it into the hole and then screw it in.
Holding a fine pin, locating the pinhole with it and then pushing it in is

There is something you could use - I've just been experimenting to see
if it works. It's used by needleworkers to thumb tack material or
canvas to a frame before embroidering, etc.
What about magnetizing a pin-pusher? Tools (if made of the correct
material) can be magnetized by rubbing them on a magnet or other methods.
But as Margot said the pins would need to be of the correct material also.
