Hi Marianne, I went through my books, including Anne Collier's book, and did not see a pattern for an Angel. However, in Collier's book, the costumes are period costumes, and have capes and collars, etc, which might seem somewhat angelic if you weren't sure what you were looking at.

Hmmm, makes me wonder where I got the pattern. It definitely looks like wings with the design, though I had not yet outlined them, but I had started on the skirt, and there are beads added near the hem. But since it doesn't seem to be in any of the books, I am going to have to do some more

Hi, I have a couple of needlelace patterns that I started several years ago, but now can’t find the patterns for. I am hoping someone can help me. One looks like the parts of an angel, (skirt, bodice, collar and wings), the other is 4 butterflies, 2 about ¾ inch the other 2 about 1.5 inches,

Lace in Miniature by Ann Collier is a book of patterns for dressing dolls. At a quick glance I didn't see either angels or butterflies in it, but I am tired after two days of stitching with Jan Beanery and Jean Littlejohn (not making lace though) Sue suebabbs...@gmail.com -Original

I have a pricking of a pattern by Riet de Vries dated 1991. It is an imaginary face done in what looks to me like Russian techniques, though I could be wrong about that. I seem to have scribbled a few notes in French on the back of the pricking, but otherwise I have no idea where I got it. It

[lace] Looking for pattern - Belgian?

The pattern I asked about yesterday seems to be Belgian and designed by Annemarie Verbeke-Billiet. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2365535230048870129tQrFqf Maybe it was published in a Kant magazine? I would be very grateful for any information how to get it. Regards Ann-Marie

Hello Ann-Marie I have an issue of Kant with a pattern similar to the one you are looking for, shown on the cover of Kant, June 2010, No. 2. It is an edging for a round mat, with the tulip motifs, designed by Anne-Marie Verbeke-Billiet, 2008. They also have it illustrated as a fan. Does this help?
