Hello lacemakers Someone collecting beads asked me whether the beads in a spangle may have some meaning. I guessed not, except adding weight to the bobbin and being fancy. But as a continental lacemaker I don't spangle and don't know about the history of spangles. Can anybody enlighten me? Jo
