Re: [lace] Cross with my cat

2017-04-19 Thread Sue Babbs

Oh dear, Jenny, that was a naughty session by Merlin!

I thought my previous cat was enough of a nuisance that she liked to sleep
on the lace pillows. I solved that by making her one of her own out of
builders' foam. Present cat has now stopped pulling pins out, but she spent
a year removing pins from pillows and pin cushions and lining them up in
parallel rows on the table.

Dear Jenny and fellow Arachnids,

Don’t you just love cats. One of my students has a cat which will sit on her
pillow and pull out as many pins as he can before being discovered. Needless
to say, she has learned very quickly to cover her pillow very carefully and
pin the draughter -covercloth) well down underneath the pillow where the cat
cannot reach.

Happy Lace making,

Joepie, in dry but chilly Sussex, UK

I was feeling very virtuous as I had made my 2 bookmarks, bought the prepaid
international envelopes and just trying to find the right postcards to go in
them when my "sweet little siamese" Merlin had one of his screaming hiss fits
running wildly through the house.

Long story short, he managed to ruin the lot so it is back to square 1 for
me.

Thankfully I was early this year so there is hope.

Hugs
Jenny B

Sounds like a certain kitty has the right name! Wizards can wreak destruction!!
Lol

Hope you didn't tell him off too much Jenny. Cats are usually unrepentant.
