The lace is painted?? I am astonished to hear that. Do you think it starts
out as who thread and then the color is added? Or is the paint just used as a

I own one of the pieces shown in the article... the woman with the sheaves
of grain in the article, as well as another one of a woman looking out a
Devon, any chance you can get a photo of this special piece and put it on
Flickr?
I love her work and would love to see some up close. Fascinating how she does
it.
