HI,
I'm really glad that this thread started up!
I can help modifying package to take care of the reading config values from
the repository !!
One thing that I like in ipcop is its abstract way of naming interfaces
- red= internet
- green= local lan
- orange =dmz
- blue = wireless
by using suc
k
is done too early ( before leaf.cfg parsing)
the packages cannot be loaded from /dev/cdrom
After discussion with Eric Spakman, it seems that the /dev/cdrom computation
could be moved to root.dev.mk
that's executed after leaf.cfg parsing

Hi,
I'm trying to transfrom an old laptop ( Pentium 200, 192MB ram) into a
wireless access point !!
Hardware:
wireless lan: sitecom wl-100i pc card ( prism54 chipset (
http://prism54.org)
wired lan= 3ccfe575bt ( 3c59x module)
Here is what I did: ( on a redhat 7.3 system)
- download kernel sourc
syntax for the patch command to be used to patch the kernel.
assuming
KERNELDIR=/usr/src/linux-2.4.26
PATCHDIR=/home/bering/leaf/src/bering-uclibc/configs/kernel/2.4.26/patches
PATCH1=helpers-2.4.26.patch.gz
what would be the patch command that must be applied ??
Many thanks
E
Hi,
I'm trying the use a wireless pci card ( usr 2216) based on a acx100 chipset
I driver is being written for this card ( acx100.sourceforge.net)
I managed to make it work with bering 1.0 ( glibc based , kernek 2.4.18)
On the same hardware, I exhange the cd & floppy with a bering 2.2 beta3
base
uclibc.iso -b isolinux.bin -relaxed-filenames -c
isolinux.cat -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -hide
isolinux.cat -hide isolinux.bin -l diskcontent

Hi,
I wrote a smal script that build an iso image from the cvs repository (
leaf/bin/bering-uclibc and leaf/bin/packges )
will the beta 3 packages be put in the beta area (
leaf/bin/bering-uclibc/beta) ??
I cannot find the initrd_ide_cd for beta3 ...
Kind regards,
Etienne Charlier
...
I would be satisfied to have a dedicated .lrp with those small progs ( they
might be added to the hdsupp package, next to the fsck.* progs)
Thanks for you fast answer,
kind regards,
Etienne

Hi,
I was wondering if the old packages built for *Stein ( with binaries
compiled for glibc 2.0)
run on the oxygen development image using glibc 2.1
?
Thank a lot

Hi,
I vote for phpwebsite.
Is it possible to get some info on how to design pages the
"phpwebsite" way.
I must upload my pages about keyb.lrp on the leaf site and
I would prefer to convert them to the new look before uploading
them.
