Hi Bas
VLAN support was one of the reasons I created glibc2.2 packages, since
I couldn't get vconfig built under glibc2.0. The kernel component adds
a few Kb of size, from memory - it's certainly not so huge that I don't
do it on every new router I install.
Cheers

I am currently trying to recompile the kernel to support VLAN and
compile vconfig to work for Leaf. Had some trouble with compiling for
glibc 2.0 (RedHat 5.2 will not make the 2.4.18 kernel because of some
trouble with the CURDIR variable, will be trying with debian 2.1 as soon
as I find the time)
