With the help of the great guides (user and installation) I managed to
build a booting bering CD.
The CD is working perfectly, apart from the squid packages I have found
on the net (2.4.STABLE3-1 and 2.4.STABLE4), that is bombing out whenever
run.

Yes, I have the correct modules loaded. The same set of LRP files will boot correctly from the disk drive of the computer in question, but the partitions won't extract any of the modules.
