Does EZ-IPUPD attempt to update DynDNS at regular intervals or
every reboot? What should I do to prevent it from causing this
problem? My account will be automatically deleted if this
continues. Thanks.
Thanks everyone for the help, I appreciate it very much.
I think the reason it was updating too frequently is logically because
ez-ipupd is saving to the RAM disk, which gets recreated upon every
reboot. This of course means that EZ-IPUPD will update DynDNS every
time I reboot.
So, I created a
You can do a few interesting things with that linksys router...
openwrt.sourceforge.net is one,
the other which has a very linksys looking firmware is available under:

You will void your warranty using those.
Who cares.

Hmmm, am I missing something? I'm trying to set up Bering-uClibc 2.2.2, and
I can't figure out how / where to specify which NIC driver(s) to load. Can
someone tell me which file(s) I need to edit and which directory I'll need
to copy drivers to should the default install not have my needed driver?
Dear list.
Although I have a p2p tunnel up between linux, and WinXP started, there
are some strange things happening. I have segments of configs and log
files for each system. It looks like this:

According to openvpn site/list opevpn 2.11beta or beyond will fix the XP
SP2 problems. I somewhat amazed that I see the packets from the fw to
the winxp box being REJECTed by shorewall, despite the configs as
follows:
shorewall log:
firewall Shorewall:all2all:REJECT: IN= OUT=tun0

Marko,
Thanks for your comments.
Is the method to switch from/to Basic/Expert taken out in purpose from
this?
Yes, depending on which .lwp's you loaded. Webconf is smart enough to only
show the switch to link if you have a different menuset to switch to.

Thank you, Jaap.
O.K., that's what I thought. But here's the odd part; I have an /etc/modules
file and a /lib/modules directory IF I use the
Bering-uClibc 2.2.2 floppy image, but not the CD .iso. Is something missing,
or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Craig

That's easy to answer: so many packages/so little time. The box is not
yet in production.
