Thanks for your answers John. I ll try to see what is wrong with my file because i set stock prices with eg @ EUR 20 when i first recorded (opening balance) my assets, and after your reply i set at the end of my file P 7/5/2020 STOCK_NAME EUR 20 but even this does not change behaviour and ledger

I don't integrate this with ledger (yet) but I use tiny scanner https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appxy.tinyscanner to scan all sorts of documents, including receipts. For receipts I name the file with date, short description and amount and then share the file to Google drive,
