I think it's good to standardize terminology. I, however, am clueless
about standard terminology and ledger terminology. (Ledger has been so
easy to use that I haven't read the manual in a long time). Is this
the correct *new* terminology?

Martin Blais pointed out to me a while back that some of Ledger's
naming choices are at odds with standard accounting terminology, most
pointedly my use of the word transaction.
