Hi:
I have a sales order to invoice question for Ledger SMB. What happens when
a user had forgotten to post an invoice after it was transferred from a
sales order? It happens to us sometimes and and the browser was closed and
we would discovered later that the sales invoice was missing. Further, t

Has LedgerSMB a way to deal with the good ole COGS error with reversing
sales invoice? I imagine this fundamental error is something important to
users who offer tangible goods. One suggestion in the past was to restock
items under AP, but that's not as easy as it seems. For a small business

Perl API that's about it. It is powerful and we use it to enter customers

we use it to support real time inventory, and paperless invoice. If you

Your welcome! I recall last year when we upgarded to Centos 5.3 and SL 2.6
we were neck deep...the Centos/Perl distribution by default compiles with
usethread.

the links below...we were able to solve it in an afternoon. just recompile
perl without the usethread option. we are using sl 2.8.17., and will be
using it probably for the next ten years as we had invested a lot of times

Try openswan way back redhat7.3. Can't get it to compile. Is openswan
easier to implement now? We are always short of time so had to take
the easier path. Tim

Use openvpn for six years now. It works great, except for remote login
from iPhones. Some of the phones got upgraded to the latest firmware
and can't be jailedbreaked, so no openvpn support. Then again, there
is no official support of openvpn on iPhones. The tmp

It seems no one has a fix for this COGS thing still, I started using SL

bring with a fix. Ideally speaking, if the logics were there, then there
should not be an issue with COG. However, since there are not, may be the

Thank you for the response! As we really need the data near real time so
we are probably going to head down the Slony-I direction. Thanks for the
pointer on the primary key and it just darn on me when I read your email.
However, it probably shouldn't be a show stoper as it should be alright
Thanks for the reply! We do use Openvpn for our offices but as this server
is hosted so by company policy it is not allowed to have a VPN connection
into to our network. Further, when it comes to the data layer we would
like to have it be managed by our databases.
I apologize that we still use SL,
hello all...our business has now the need to replicate our sl/postgres db

our firewall) has the need to generate non-critical read only invoice and

Start a new book is a good idea too...this is the worst part of the
softwares. If you only have a few inventories that are off you should look
into the AR and AP to see how it happened and try correcting it.
