Hi
I am new to LedgerSMB
I installed in a fresh install of Ubuntu on Friday with few problems.
(note that your installation tutorial has an error - the line where you
adduser ledgersmb needs to be broken into 2 lines - for those of us who
were just copy & pasting)
All seemed fine on Friday evening
Hi
I am wondering if there is a way to enter a large number (several thousand)

I can get the stock list in a csv format, what fields in the database would

Or is there another smarter way?

Hi
Is the LaTeX code being executed on the server or client machine?
Reason I ask is that I run the print and was getting intermittent problems,
now I think it is related to which client machine I am using.

Hi
Well the good news is that I can't reproduce this now.
Don't know what the difference is or what I was doing differently, but it
works on both machines now

Hi
using LedgerSMB 1.4.4.
I am getting an intermittent error.
I have a database set up with a lot of parts (>18,000).
I go to order entry - > sales order.
I enter items (using item number) and a quantity for each item.
This works well.
Occasionally I get an error as below.
I can use back arrow and

Hi
I have a strange problem and the solution is probably obvious -but I can't
see it.
I can not login into LedgerSMB from the server machine but I can from other
machines.
ie if I am using 127.0.0.1/ledgersmb I get the login screen - enter user,

Hi
if you look at the parts table first, note the *accno_id fields.
You also may need the makemodel, partstax, partscustomer and partsvendor
tables, depending on your usage.
Set up your CSV files to look like the tables you want to populate.
There are several ways of doing this, you could use the

It was always an intermittent problem for me, but if I saved and continued
adding lines to the order I would get it after about 4-5 saves.
The problem was never fully solved - we just don't save while doing an
order at the moment as a workaround.

How do I edit a customer so that he is this type of business?

Hi
I have experimented with starman with 1.4.
There is one bug that I keep coming across which is not in the apache

Is it considered an experimental release or should I submit bug reports on

Hi
Was looking to play around with different ways of using LedgerSMB.
I see a "point of sale" link on the sourceforge page but when I click
it I see no download link. Do I need to use svn to bring it down to my
machine?
There are references on this list to wxPOS being used, where is this?

Hi
Mint is using the Debian repository and mine currently sees LedgerSMB 1.3.25-1.
I do not use this one myself I am using the 1.4 version,
I have not tried the default one(1.3.25-1) so I cannot say if/how it works

where do I set up these templates?
